September has been an enjoyable month for the children of Alan’s 2nd class as we adopted the new school wide initiative of The Daily Mile with enthusiasm and energy. Each day the class have aimed to jog, walk or run for a short period of time to increase our levels of exercise and enjoy being outdoors in the process.
As the Rugby World Cup is now in full swing, our class has taken the opportunity to try out our ball handling skills during PE. It’s a new skill for most of us but we are getting to grips with it so far.
In class, we have been quite active in exploring our creative talents. The children read a short bio of Pablo Picasso and examined images of his work. We used Picasso as our source of inspiration for creating our own wonderfully eye catching and colourful drawings.
