Our wonderful Senior Infants have been using, mixing and experimenting with colours. They love to express themselves using colours and to show the different personalities in the class. We used our primary colours to make secondary colours and created beautiful rainbows. The children showed their individuality to create different shades when making new colours.
The children also loved becoming scientists as they performed a colour mixing experiment with ice cubes. Using colour dye they made yellow, red and blue ice cubes. They then mixed they ice cubes in a cup to create new colours. The children were amazed to see the results and had so much fun!!
