The children in Múinteoir James’ class are learning about the life cycle of the butterfly at the moment. To help us with our understanding we made a beautiful animation with the help of Belinda Walsh. We had great fun making the animation and watching the finished piece. We also have caterpillars in our classroom which have entered the chrysalis stage of the life cycle. We can’t wait to see them emerge as butterflies which we will then release into the school garden.
