Last Saturday Hassan and Hussein Benhaffaf (Karen’s 1st Class) travelled to Kilkenny to represent their Cork Sports Club at the Leinster IWA championships. Children with disabilities from all over Ireland gathered at the event and Hassan and Hussein did exceptionally well.
Hassan took home (3) Gold medals for Under 10 Discus, Shot put and 100m wheelchair track racing
Whilst Hussein took home 2) Gold for Javelin and 60m wheelchair track racing.

Both boys also took home (5) silver medals between them and their Club was very proud. The twins are also part of the. Ok Junior Wheelchair Basketball Team and will play a Blitz in Cork this Sunday.
As a school we are very proud of their determination, willingness to try their best and the way they represent themselves. They might also be a little competitive!!!!
