Midleton Educate Together are very proud of one of their 2nd class pupils who will be taking part in the PUMA Tae Kwon Do World Championships 2014 in Swindon,UK next weekend the 7th, 8th and 9th of March.
As part of the Jae Hun Kim TKD Club in Carrigtwohill, Logan will be the youngest member on their Irish Team. He has just graded and received his Red belt, and is taking part in an intense Black Belt programme in the club which will enable him to perform his Black Belt grading in June this year. If successful, Logan will hold the title of the youngest child in their club ever to receive his First Degree Black Belt.
Logan trains extremely hard in Tae Kwon Do, and he is very proud of his achievements to date, but also very modest. Logan is a great ambassador for his TKD club and his school, and while promoting sport and fitness, we are sure he will feel encouraged and pleased that all of his friends, staff, pupils and the whole METNS community are supporting him on this big occasion; he may even provide us with some moves that he has learned. Good luck Logan, we are all proud of you and will be shouting for you from this side of the water!
