March was a very busy month in Bláthú!
We celebrated St Patrick’s Day by learning about the story of Saint Patrick, making shamrocks and mobiles, and wearing green.
Springtime on the farm was a popular topic this month with the boys in Bláthú! We learned about the types of animals that are born in spring on the farm and the kinds of jobs that farmers carry out in spring. We were even lucky enough to have a visit from a sheep and her lambs! The consensus amongst the boys was that the lambs were “very cute”!
The boys created some beautiful art work inspired by Vincent Van Gogh’s painting “Sunflowers”. They drew the picture first then painted it using four colours.
