Second class have been celebrating and you may ask why? We have been celebrating festivals around the world and learning about various traditions and beliefs. Since mid-term we have discussed and explored many festivals including The Day of the Dead, Diwali, Hanukkah and soon we will be learning about the Winter Solstice and Christmas. The children’s curiosity and engagement in these topics has been inspiring. Their art work shows their attention to detail and creativity. You can view some in the photos below and please keep an eye out for more as they bring them home to show you. We must commend our wonderful students on their hard work, following of the Covid 19 safety guidelines and their happy and enthusiastic spirit. A true reason to celebrate!
