5th class-September

September was a busy month for 5th class. We enjoyed writing personal recounts, describing events and experiences of our daily lives. We decided it would be a nice idea to type our recounts and display them outside our classroom. Now everyone who passes into our class can see our hard work.
On top of that we spent the month investigating plants and animals and their different habitats. We also examined how seasonal changes can effect them and conducted a blubber glove experiment, to find out if blubber acts as insulation between Arctic mammals inner organs and the chilly ocean. (We used a blubber substitute) and guess what? It worked and we had great fun learning!
