Múinteoir Diane’s class have been celebrating the arrival of Spring by making egg carton daffodils and popcorn cherry blossom trees. We have been learning lots about garden birds and other animals in the Springtime. We made nests using clay and got to bring them home with some fluffy chicks and a few feathers! Everyone enjoyed learning that some birds find some sheep’s wool that might be stuck to a hedge to line their nests making it extra cosy! On the day of our Easter holidays, we had great fun celebrating ‘Lá Ceann Craiceáilte’ with the rest of the school wearing our crazy hats and head pieces!
