Autumn Antics in Junior Infants!

As part of history, Junior Infants learned about how they have grown and changed over time. They compared what they looked like as a baby and what they look now. We discussed how we have changed since we were babies and that we can do much more to look after ourselves now. We also learned about some traditions and stories on the theme of Halloween and enjoyed doing spooky dances and actions to songs like ‘Spooky Spooky’, ‘Oíche Shamhna’ and ‘The Skeleton Dance’. I think you will agree that our Halloween outfits were very impressive and even managed to scare some of the teachers! We continued learning lots about Autumn – making clay hedgehogs, going for an Autumn nature walk looking for signs of Autumn and learning how much nature changes during this season.
