There was major excitement in 1st class Bláthú last week when the boys were told that we would be planting seeds. They wrote their names on the Innocent cups, rolled up their sleeves and were ready to start planting!
First we planted the watercress, then the courgettes and finally, the highly anticipated, pumpkins! Every day since planting, the boys have been rushing to check the cups each morning to check their progress. We noted the watercress seems to be growing much more quickly than the courgettes and pumpkins. There was delight on Monday morning after the weekend when we arrived into the classroom and found the there were some green shoots popping up from the courgettes and the pumpkins. Hooray!
