Spring has sprung for Junior Infants in MĂșinteoir Aisling’s class.
The children have been busy recording the weather and taking advantage of some of the drier and brighter days to get outside for various activities. The children walked to the post box in the nearby Tesco shopping centre to post their letters that they had written to another school in County Mayo. They also got to look for signs of Spring before the Easter holidays and found lots of buds, flowers and birds (one or two children also saw Leprechauns hiding in the field).
The boys and girls have also created some beautiful and bright works of art based on Spring. They enjoyed painting Cherry Blossom trees and making 3D daffodils.
We have lots planned for Term 3 and are looking forward to getting the opportunity to explore outside of the classroom too.
