Welcome to 3rd Class Blog- Angela.
Student’s have had a successful start to the school year and have been working hard on being responsible and respectful members of the school. We have some really talented and creative students in our class!
English
We have been learning to write different types of ‘Recounts’. In September, students made a healthy fruit smoothie to promote ‘instructional recount writing’. They enjoyed adding their favourite fruits and tasting our class smoothies. After our cooking demonstration students write about the ingredients and instructions we took.
Class Projects
Student’s were asked to present a ‘free choice’ class project in October. They worked extremely hard to present engaging presentations about animals, holidays and about their families. This was a great way to get to know each other.
Halloween
Students wrote fantastic poetry about ‘ten things they would find in a wizards pocket’ and about ‘magic potions’. They created wonderful artworks based on ‘The Scream’ by artist Edvard Munch’. Some photographs are uploaded of our students successes!
