Fourth class marked the 70th VE Day anniversary by exploring many aspects of World War II during the month of May. Excellent research projects were conducted by the children over the course of the month. The children spent time discovering which countries were involved with the war effort, who were the leaders of each nation, how everyday life changed for people during The Blitz, the reason USA became involved in the war and also examined the D-Day landings.
