Last Friday, our 6th class debate team were once again successful in winning their 2nd round of the Concern Primary School Debating competition.
They successfully proposed the motion
“ Mobile phones should be banned for primary school students “.
They were against St.Luke’s National School from Douglas.
They now go forward to the 3rd round and await the next motion and opponents.
Each 6th class took responsibility for assisting each of our three speakers in researching and writing their speeches.
Well done 6th class and in particular our debate team of speakers and researchers.
