We read the poem, The loner, by Julie Holden.
We responded to the poem and we wrote our own poetry based on emotions we feel at school.
Drama by George
We did drama games and improvisations. We wrote our own scripts based on Irish and Greek mythology.
History by Matthew
We learned about the Maya, the Normans, World War II and the Greeks.
The Normans were from Viking descent and concurred Ireland in 1171.

At the start of September we discussed gender neutrality and our civil rights.
Later on in the term we talked about animal slaughter and wrote a recount from an animal’s point of view. We also discussed children’s rights.
