This week is turning out to be a tough few days. Our school secretary and I were asked to judge the Global Earth Day art competition. It has been an incredibly tough task with all categories competed in showing a very high standard of work. It was a pleasure to be asked to judge the work and witness the talent and creativity the school has to offer. Well done to the Global Earth Day committee in 5th Class for organising with Muinteoir Aisling.
I am also in the process of making a cup of tea so I can sit down and read the recount writing stories that 5th Class have been busy preparing. I have been asked to judge this too with a strict criteria to adhere too.
It is wonderful when you get an opportunity to enjoy the pupils work in such a delightful manner.
