In 5th class our learning theme for October has been, Mexico and the Maya. As part of our topic we have been learning about the Mexican festival, Day of the Dead. We found out that Mexican people celebrate their ancestors by dressing up in colourful Skelton colours. For art, we researched, designed and created our own day of the dead masks using traditional patterns.
