As well as the Junior Infants, right across the school classes were mathematically busy for Maths Week and not just in their books and copies !
3rd class Laura went on a Maths trail hunt learning about lines and angles both inside and outside the classroom.Lot of angles and lines around the school were discovered – the railings on the stairs, the windows, the name of the school and many many more.
Bláthú classes with Naomi and Niamh were enjoying maths games and solving maths puzzles in groups in their classrooms.
Meanwhile 6th class were busy on the school iPADs competing against schools from all over Ireland on a daily target board challenge and even managed to get into the top ten scoring schools.
Maths Week 2022 was thoroughly enjoyed by all.
