Thursday the 6th of October 2016 was National Tree Day. Midleton Educate Together NS took this opportunity to enhance the wonderful bonds that we have within our school community by asking each family to bring in a small amount of soil from each home so we could plant our ‘Alder’. This tree will spread it’s roots into our own school community and once strong enough we shall plant this tree in our new permanent home. Each pupil and staff member out their hands into this soil before members of our Green School’s committee planted our tree to celebrate ‘National Tree Day’ and to celebrate the journey the school is undertaking.
