We were very fortuante to welcome our East Cork hero and mulit -paralympian Orla Barry to school on Friday the 7th of October. Orla recently represented Ireland in Brazil 2016 and won a silver Medal. Orla has won medals in two World Championships as well as three European Championships.
We were thrilled that Orla answered some fantasitc questions from some of our students and the pupils at Midleton ETNS were in awe of what she has achieved and her outlook on what she hopes to achieve.
Our pupils wore national colours in support of Orla’s acheivements and were extremely excited by our guest.
What a treat…….we had Orla Barry, international athlete in our school!!! She is inspirational!!
