During November and December 6th class have been taking part in safe cycling training. Our instructors Ruth and George from Wild Atlantic Sports have been teaching us many things such as signalling, looking ahead on the road ,looking for traffic, all the safety checks and much more.
Each week we were learning for one and a half hours, on some days we were inside for half an hour of theory training and outside for the rest. We did lots of fun games and bicycle challenges.
They brought bikes that we were able to use or you were allowed to bring your own.
On the final week, we left the school grounds and tried out our new skills around the Tír Cluain estate, across the road from our school.
It was a great experience and we had a great time!!
