We were thrilled to have received a visit from the Band 1 Brigade from Collins Barracks, Cork. The band shared their passion for music by sharing wonderful pieces with us. The fun we had was mighty!!! The smiles on faces, the wiggle to the music, the laughter of joy and the sweet sound of singing was heard (throughout East Cork…we are certain!).
It seems we have talented conductors in the making, percussionists (staff and pupils) and a talented Alice (who can play the trumpet exceptionally well as a past member of the Army Band).
Thank Sgt Galvin and the Army Band for such a wonderful and happy day.
