Today the children had the opportunity to celebrate World Book Day 2018 at last ! (‘The Beast From the East’ snow storm delayed our first planned day).
Many of the children came dressed as favourite book characters, clutching their treasured books to their chests.
In school they moved to different classrooms and teachers throughout the day, experiencing the passion for reading that is vibrant amongst our staff, across a wide variety of reading genres.
I’m sure the day served to inspire our young readers even further to explore the joy of reading each and every day !
