A Super Busy Month in Senior Infants

We have had a busy but fun few weeks in Senior Infants.

First we began with a very important trip to the Teddy Bear’s Hospital in UCC. Our little furry friends were given a head to tail check up by all the student Doctors and all the children had a chance to dress up as Doctors themselves, get their face painted and join in some exciting games.

The last two weeks saw us celebrating World Book Week. The children dressed up as characters from their favourite stories and spent some time learning about the author Oliver Jeffers. We read lots of his stories including The Day the Crayons Quit, Lost and Found and our favourite was the The Way Back Home.

Then we had seachtain na Gaeilge – We learned a new Irish dance – Shoe the Donkey for our school Céilí and I’ll Tell me Ma for our school Ceolchoirm. All in all it has been busy few weeks but lots and lots of fun!
