In November, Múinteoir Laura and Múinteoir Emma decided it was time to start preparing for the Winter Performance. Both classes started planning separately. We wrote our own script, divided up the parts and picked the songs we wanted to sing. Our theme for the Winter Performance was ‘Winter around the World’. Both classes picked a few countries to learn all about their Winter traditions. We spent a lot of time working together to learn about the traditions in different countries. It was very interesting and enjoyable.
Finally, the day came to perform in front of parents and family. We were all nervous but we did it anyway and it went extremely well. We all made our parents and families proud. All the teachers were extremely proud and we had so much fun!
