Múinteoir Diane’s 1st class are winding down after a very busy first term in our brand new shiny school! We love our fantastic new building and classroom. We have been busy learning about a wide variety of subjects including foxes, silhouettes and trees and our handwriting and reading skills have improved so much since September. We have enjoyed working in pairs and small groups during active maths lessons. We love to use all the Gaeilge we’ve been learning gach lá in the classroom and can now chat about bia/food, an scoil/school and ainmhithe/animals to name but a few things in Irish. We greet any visitors to our classroom with a range of frásaí Gaeilge and are always willing to sing a few songs as Gaeilge also! Our Winter show on Monday topped off a terrific term one in our new school and we were delighted to take to the stage to make our families and friends proud with our fantastic performance.
