Junior Infants have a had a lovely start to Big School. They are all settling in great and making lots of lovely new friends. They have been on nature walks and explored the sensory garden where they loved picking and smelling the fragrant lavender and sage we grow.
They have enjoyed making an adventure out of lunch time by having picnics outside and even under their desks (in their dens), just like the animals getting ready to hibernate.
They have even explored a little about space through their nursery rhyme “Twinkle Twinkle Little Star” and created mini drama’s about poor Old Humpty Dumpty.
Lots of fun has been had and lots more to come with Pyjama parties and Halloween in the weeks ahead.
